Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki was the oldest of three daughters. She was born to Eileen Dolan Medvey (Psychotherapist 8]) and Dimitrios R. Psaki (Greek, Demetrios R. Psakes), who were both real estate agents. Her grandfather immigrated from Greece in 1904, and her grandmother was of Irish heritage. In the year 1976, her parents got married. Psaki also descends from Polish ancestry. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, she earned an education from the College of William & Mary. She is an active part of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki was an athlete in the backstroke on the William & Mary Tribe's athletic team for two years consecutively. Psaki was initially engaged in the 2001 re-election campaigns of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack for Governor of Iowa. Psaki was John Kerry's press secretary deputy in 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director for Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and also as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced Psaki as an analyst on the political scene for 2022 United States Elections and during the 2024 presidential campaign. In 2023 she will also host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming channel. [35] Psaki first made an appearance on television in 2023 after she was fired from her position as White House press secretary and discussed the Robb Elementary School school shooting.
