Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actor. Her starring role on TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most popular. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her performance as Johnson and an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. Following the conclusion of the seventh season, the show was cancelled on the 13th of August 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her recurring role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine's sitcom Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick received nominations for a Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are as well. Sedgwick was born in New York City to Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), who is a speech/family therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick, a venture investor. Her mother was Jewish and her father was Episcopalian as well as of English origin. Sedgwick identifies herself as Jewish, and she has claimed that she attends at Passover seders.
