Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello is an American actress. Her film credits include Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly (2000), The Cooler (2003), A History of Violence (2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008), Grown Ups (2010), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016). On television, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well as other starring roles including as Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013, as Michelle McBride on the first season of the show Goliath in 2016, and from 2017 to 2021, as the Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the show NCIS. Bello was born on April 18, 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy, a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello was a student of politics at Villanova University. Bello trained in acting in New York and continued to develop her talents after graduating. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son who is named Jackson. Bello revealed in November 2013 that she had an same-sex relationship with Clare Munn, her former lover. She published a book, Whatever...Love Is LOVE: Examining the labels we give to Ourself, (Dey Street Books) 28 April 2015.
